Your Eyes, a poem from, Poetry Volume One, by Rose Mary Johnson, U.S. Copyright
The crowd was so thick.
It was almost night.
The air was cool.
But, I was not.
Like a flash in the dark, your eyes did appear.
Taunting me.
Taunting me.
Then, they would disappear.
I searched all night for your eyes.
For they took my heart to my surprise.
And, when I found them.
They left me dismayed.
For I realized I could not live without them.
Your eyes.
Your eyes.
Hello! I hope you’re having a great day. Good luck 🙂
