The Closet Series
By Rose Mary Johnson
The Closet series is a collection of dreams that reveal a possible past life (reincarnation).
Part One

What I’m about to share is not contingent upon your belief. I don’t need your approval. But you are welcome to stay. Read. Judge for yourself.
The first dream came the same night of one certain prayer. I was in a dire heartache. A friendship I cherish. One that had been there in my life for approximately seven years had just ended. I needed closure.
In recollection, I doubted my prayer would result in an explanation. I more importantly needed to speak with God about the heartache. I didn’t intend the prayer as a request merely and only. I couldn’t resist before the prayer’s close in asking. Why did the friendship end? Knowing why would bring closure. Closure would advance the healing. I dearly wanted to heal.
Why not ask my former friend? Why not contact the former friend and ask for closure. She was not returning my correspondence. It all happened so quickly and decisively. That’s a story within a story.
What came to me in sleep that night would change the way I see myself, my life and begin to explain some dislikes or cravings that have always been with me. It intrigued me. Scared me. Puzzled me. It was a pandora’s box exploding in a hidden closet of my deepest mind.
Let the dream begin...
In the dream, I see her, my friend who had exited my life so quickly without explanation. Oddly, I was a man in the dream. I had olive complexion with dark hair.
This man who I had become in my dream was smitten. His emotions flowed to me in the dream state. As he had his eye upon her, he nervously made an approach.
In her presence, she made him feel alive. Heart beating swiftly, the blood surged. It was a high he couldn’t deny. He began his nervous conversation with a question.
"Where did you learn German?” He asked.
Her eyes darted. Head tilted toward her right. With a slight raise of her chin, her sarcastic tone replied.
I learned German in school.
What a ridiculous question her body language read. With that, she turned quickly. Dismissively exiting his presence. But her less than receptive engagement didn’t deter him. She was just as beautiful as ever. Her spunk ignited the passionate interest. He was drawn to her. His eyes persisted in her direction even as she walked away.
