O'beautiful Dream, by Rose Mary Johnson
O'beautiful dream of mine,
You come to me in my lonely times,
To shelter me from life's harshest winds,
To comfort me from the tears they send.
O'beautiful dream of mine,
You are a friend that's truly kind,
Taking the pieces that life hath shattered,
And, making me feel as if I matter.
O'beautiful dream of mine,
Even if there comes a time,
When reality must descend,
You’ve taught me an escape from which to pretend.
