I Breathe You

I Breathe You, Poetry, Dreamztrue

I Breathe You, a poem from, Poetry Volume One, by Rose Mary Johnson, U.S. Copyright

I cannot speak it all.
The words are hidden.
In the fear,
for I am small.

You – who are you?

I smile and my heart breaks too.

I yearn and from you have I learned.

Love can be for all concerned.

I breathe you.
Small I am.

Life lives again.

Love mends.

Where have you come from?

I meet you again,
into my life you descend.

But what may come?

I fear – a smile and my heart breaks too.

For my life I have learned,

what I hold dear,

Disappears…

Runaway…
Fear
I push away most dear.

You.

For what have I done?
My breath is gone.
I cry memories.
A short repeating series.

All the while,
I breathe you.
Small I am.

My heart breaking again.

Life I will live on through it all.

Memories of you I recall.

I breathe you.

Small I am.
But you made me tall.

And I will do best I can.

Breathing you.

Again and again…
