Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Poetry, Rose Mary Johnson

Tomorrow, a poem from, Poetry Volume One, by Rose Mary Johnson, U.S. Copyright

Each day, I roam in the void.
Fighting yesterday’s sorrow.
My tears frozen solid.
My heart’s breath it borrows.

Without you…
It feels like tomorrow will never come.
And, yesterday is where today comes from.
I never had a chance to say I love you.

I love you.

My commander was fear.
I hid the love within my heart.
Now, I’m lost in a dense atmosphere.
Because we are forever apart.

I keep reliving the last goodbye.
One day fades into another.
I call for you without a reply.
This loss my heart it smothers.

But, If I had told you that I loved you.
Such a chance I could have taken.
Lost to what could have been true.
I roam this world forsaken.

Without you…
It feels like tomorrow will never come.
And, yesterday is where today comes from.
I never had a chance to say I love you.

I love you.

My soul wants yours to know.
These peaceful memories will always be so.
And, no matter how far apart.
Even if it seems we will forever depart.

Empty time passes.
Wistfully floating in the blue.
Forever your memory will encompass.
All that will ever be true.

My soul will always yearn to say, I love you.

I love you.
